CORNING, N.Y. – John G. Ullman & Associates, Inc. (JGUA) is thrilled to welcome Shawn Twigg, CFP®, to our Financial Advisor Team. A near five-year veteran of the financial services industry, Shawn will be based at the JGUA Corning Branch Office.

Before entering the financial services industry, Shawn gained experience working in family-owned businesses in the automotive, trucking, and excavating industries across the Northeast and central Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Banking and Finance, and a minor in Financial Counseling, graduating with honors.

In addition to his academic achievements, Shawn is a Certified Financial Planner ™ (CFP®), enabling him to offer a comprehensive range of financial planning services, retirement planning, and investment guidance.
Previously, Shawn held his Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses and was a registered stock broker, gaining valuable experience in life insurance, annuities, securities, and complex financial products.
Shawn also volunteers each spring with the Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, providing free tax preparation services to local individuals who meet eligibility criteria. This community work allows him to give back to his alma mater and serve those in need.
